A recently published article about Richard Nixon's resignation and subsequent pardon was done with several of our SLJC students. Katherine Perrotta is an Assistant Professor of Middle Grades and Secondary Education at Mercer University Tift College of Education where she teaches social studies methods. She is also a board member of Leadership Johns Creek. Her research on historical empathy, social studies teaching methods, history of education, and pre-service and in-service social studies teacher professional development has been published in numerous journals.
